i-CARE Summer Break program provides support to children and families through quality
programming while offering extended care experiences.

Teacher Assistant Requirements:
• Monitor students and ensure that school expectations and policies are upheld.
• Uphold personal and site professionalism.
• Attend summer informational meeting to ensure knowledge of programming and schedules.
Mandatory staff meeting held at Central's cafeteria on Thursday, May 23rd from 10am - 12pm.

Summer i-CARE runs Monday through Friday, beginning Tuesday, May 28th through
Friday, August 2nd (minus June 19th and July 4th/5th). Available shifts for the program are

• 6:30am-12:00pm
• 8:00am-1:30pm
• 10:00am-3:30pm
• 12:00pm-5:30pm
• 12:30pm-6:00pm

* for a total of 27.5 hours.

*Staff should be ready to interact and engage with students at the start of their shift.
*Staff adjustments might be made based on student enrollment. Any additional staff
duties and responsibilities will be determined by the Site Coordinator and i-CARE
Administrative staff.
Qualification: Elementary or Middle school TA experience preferred.

*i-CARE Summer Break Care will be held at Central Middle School, located at 725 7th St.,
Columbus IN

Terms of Employment:
Starting Hourly Rate Placement: $14.84 per hour
An additional $1 per hour will be paid
