As a s ystems administrator to work within classified environments with a solid background in Windows operating systems to provide in-depth support and lead problem-solving and implementation efforts for specific software and hardware for customers in support of mission-critical applications. Can work as part of a dynamic team to manage service offerings and ticketing, provide troubleshooting experience, and document best practices. In addition to supporting as a Tier 1-3 System Administrator, will support various projects to include assisting with Helpdesk, installation design, recommending purchases, and installing new cabling, equipment, and associated hardware and software to extend and enhance existing services. Troubleshoot and assist with software and hardware problems for domain users and assist with maintaining the configuration baseline for workstations. As a system administrator on our team, you'll collaborate to develop innovative solutions to enable secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer systems. You'll work individually or in a small integrated team, and may also lead a task, or project. You'll ensure project completion and provide guidance and direction to lower-level technicians, specialists, and managers. You'll support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team members through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a te chn ical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. You Have: * 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator * 3 years of experience with virtual applications, including VMware vSphere, vCenter, or ESXi * Knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems and managing and administering physical and virtual servers * Ability to report briefings and findings of complex technical and operational topics to leadership, and liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution * Ability to work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the infrastructure * Ability to advise on the selection and implementation of security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the cybersecurity team * Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam * HS diploma or GED * DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification, including Security CE Nice If You Have: * Experience with JIRA and Atlassian Suite of tools * Ability to work with Security Te chn ical Implementation Guides and group policies * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or Cyber * DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III Certification, including CASP , CISSP, or CCNP Security Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
