Displays initiative to see processes through to completion and offers assistance without being asked.* Possess basic knowledge of sterile techniques as it relates to the provision of CT assisted biopsies, fluoro guided procedures and other interventions within the scope of an RN* Places PICC lines, midlines, peripheral IVs with or without ultrasound guidance; for those patient who meet criteria. Obtains and maintains the education and competencyas appropriate for the insertion and care of these lines.* Participates in the clinical oversight of student trainees.Required Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited nursing program1 - 3 years related experienceRequired License/CertificationsCurrent RN license in the state of Texas, BLS certification, ACLS certification, Competency in moderate sedation
