Supervises and coordinates the Respiratory Care Department Activities and any related job duties in the clinical practice of Respiratory Care. Description
  • Registered Therapist through the National Board for Respiratory Care or obtain RRT within a year of accepting the position. If credentialed after 2002, must maintain active membership status for credentials issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Two years of clinical experience. Must have demonstrated leadership skills. Must possess decision making and delegating skills. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Must have the ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints. Must be aware of hospital and departmental needs and able to address in absence of the Director and Manager. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)) certifications. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred.
