Job Description:

As a Senior Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our projects. You will collaborate closely with project teams, providing guidance on Azure cloud infrastructure best practices and implementing necessary changes. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor to other team members, sharing your expertise and promoting rigorous engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the assessment and enhancement of our Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.

- Design, build, and operate scalable and reliable infrastructure components within our Azure application portfolio.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools to automate provisioning and management tasks, ensuring consistency and reducing manual errors.

- Establish and optimize CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins, or similar tools to automate deployment processes and enable continuous integration and delivery.

- Provide expert-level support for production environments, troubleshooting incidents, minimizing downtime, and implementing proactive monitoring solutions.

- Champion security and governance practices in Azure cloud environments, implementing robust identity and access management, network security, and encryption measures.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes, effective communication, and alignment towards project goals.

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in cloud technology, DevOps practices, and industry trends, contributing to the continuous improvement of our practices and processes.

Required Skillsets:

- Minimum of 7 years experience

- Deep understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure services, demonstrating proficiency in designing and implementing solutions that are scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient.

- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.

- Proven track record of implementing and supporting CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins, or similar tools to automate deployment processes and enable continuous integration and delivery.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience providing production support, minimizing downtime, and implementing proactive monitoring solutions.

- Thorough understanding of security and governance best practices in Azure cloud environments, including identity and access management, network security, and encryption.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.

- Proficiency in version control systems like Git, including branching strategies and code review processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent work experience.

- Relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate.

- Additional certifications in Terraform, CI/CD, or relevant areas of cloud computing, DevOps, or software engineering.
