Job Description:
The PMO is responsible for underwriting and structuring of straightforward credit transactions (existing and new clients) with a high level of independence. The PMO is also involved in structuring and underwriting of complex credit transactions with coaching from the AB Senior Portfolio Manager. The PMO approves credit transactions without CPO coverage under credit approval grid but with a high level of support from the AB Senior Portfolio Manager. The PMO also participates in the internal credit approval process led by client manager (straight forward transactions) and/or CPO (complex credits) and partners with the client manager/CPO in preparation of Term Sheets. The PMO leads documentation and closing for straightforward credit transactions without CPO coverage and has an active role with the CPO in documentation and closing for complex transactions. Provides ongoing management and primary accountability for all monitoring and maintenance activities on an assigned portfolio, including straight forward and complex client relationships. The PMOs have primary accountability for all monitoring and maintenance activities on an assigned client base primarily larger/complex client relationships and (e.g. FAS/AER, Risk Rating Scorecards, CPT web, etc). They monitor clients operating performance and financial condition to proactively identify issues and opportunities. They deliver financial, industry, economic and other analysis to facilitate decision making, while also ensuring adherence to credit policies, guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. They report to the AB Senior Portfolio Manager and partner closely with AB Credit Officers.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and Analyzing a Portfolio of Retail Finance Borrowers
  • Completing Risk Rating Score Cards
  • Reviewing 3rd Party Field Exams and Appraisals
  • Analyzing Financial Trends & Statements
  • Complying with all Policy & Procedures
  • Preparing information for Monthly Loan Review and Quarterly SER Meetings
  • Assess Credit Requests, Analyze Risks and Make Recommendations
Required Qualifications:
  • 2.5 years of solid experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management for commercial and/or ABL client segments.
  • Must have proficient analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring.

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration.
