Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, or designee, This position supports students' academic success and retention through case management, counseling, psycho-educational activities, and referrals to resources. This position also is responsible to coordinate services and staff within the Wellness and Counseling Center. This position maintains high student contact to address barriers students may be facing to help support their success at Baltimore City Community College.
* Master's Degree in a Mental Health field such as Counseling, Social Work, or Psychologist.
* State Licensure, or ability to be license in Maryland within one year (LPC, LP, LMSW or another Mental Health License) (license in good standing)
* Two years of clinical counseling experience as part of a case management support team and experience navigating community resources.
* One year experience supervising other licensed mental health professionals.
* Two years of clinical counseling experience in a Community College or University Counseling Center.
* Two years of experience serving as part of a Behavioral Intervention (BIT) Team
