Key Responsibilities
Performs various joining techniques, including heliarc, stick wire, braze, resistance, and laser welding, on ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as steel, aluminum, Inconel, and stainless steel. Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner. Perform other related duties as assigned. Change machine tools and/or procedures as required or with approval as directed by management. In accordance with the fabrication cycle, use accessories like lifting devices and make adjustments to ensure a product that meets safety and quality guidelines. Must be able to perform required welding tasks in confined space due to weld locations. Must be able to produce acceptable welds in non-standard out of position circumstances.
