**Duties and Responsibilities:**

Develop new and redline existing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and Interlock Narratives

Work on multi-discipline capital project teams to modernize the production facility

Support Process Hazard Analyses for new and existing processes

Develop Process Flow Diagrams and Heat and Material Balances

Lead various calculations for process design (i.e. relief, pump sizing, and heat transfer)

Develop cost estimates for new and existing products and / or develop scope of work for capital projects.

Provide field support for startup commissioning activities which includes troubleshooting process, instrumentation and equipment problems

Provide field support for I/O & interlock checkout

Provide on-call technical support as needing during commissioning

Create and/or update necessary procedures and assist with training operators when needed

Mentor junior Process Chemical Engineers

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and 6 years relevant experience

Process Flow Diagram development

Heat and Material Balance development

Experience in Process Chemical Design or supporting manufacturing operations

Piping and Instrumentation Diagram development (P&ID)

Hazard Analysis experience - HAZOP, PHA, FMEA, etc.

Ability to be on-call on occasion (rotating basis)

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering

6 years relevant experience

Process Flow Diagram development

Heat and Material Balance development

Experience in Process Chemical Design or supporting manufacturing operations

Piping and Instrumentation Diagram development (P&ID)

Hazard Analysis experience - HAZOP, PHA, FMEA, etc.

Ability to be on-call on occasion (rotating basis)

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $91980 - $156330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
