As a systems engineer on our project, you'll help plan, develop, and perform lab, functional, integration and production testing. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into multiple disciplines. You Have: * 3 years of experience with virtualization, including VMware and Azure * 2 years of experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, ASM, APM or WAF * 2 years of experience with systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication * 2 years of experience creating and managing ACLs, DNAT and SNAT * Experience with network and system migrations * Experience with implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on Windows, Linux, and F5 operating systems * Experience using security tools, including Splunk, Solar Winds, and ACAS * Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED * DoD 8570 compliance IAT Category, Level II Certification Nice If You Have: * Experience with architecting Zero Trust solutions, road maps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, CISA Maturity Model, or DoD Zero Trust Strategy * Experience with VMware vCloud Director * Experience with Veeam Backup and Recovery * Experience with analyzing data across systems to improve design-decision making and optimizing performance * Experience performing technical leadership to plan technical implementation, manage technical tasking within the team, and support junior staff * Experience with drafting and updating technical stakeholder requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes * Ability to work independently and as a dedicated team member * Bachelor's degree in System Engineering * Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104 Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
