John Crane is Hiring a Customer Reliability Engineer Near Beaumont, TX

The Customer Reliability Engineer works on-site at a customer facility(s), participating in activities with the customer to comply with the partnership agreement. The engineer makes independent seal and equipment evaluations, selections and recommendations with over site from the salesman and/or regional engineer. Also, the may lead one or more customer reliability personnel at a customer facility.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReviews customer applications proactively and makes specific recommendations for MTBR improvement with over site from the salesman and/or the regional engineer.Analyzes and evaluates specific customer applications. Then submits to salesman and/or regional engineer recommendations for improvement via the John Crane Application Data Information Sheet for approval.Directs the installation and commissioning of mechanical seals and their auxiliary support systems.Observes, collects and evaluates customer data while working with the salesman and/or regional engineer. Then reports seal programs results utilizing John Cranes current reliability management software, e.g., INTERFACE or ServiceMax .Analyzes the equipment survey for inventory optimization opportunities within current consignment management guidelines.Communicates orally and in writing with customers, company personnel, and vendors providing counseling, recommendations, and technical assistance. May include making technical presentations to customers or management with over site from the salesman and/or the regional engineer. The presence of salesman and/or regional engineer is not required during presentation.Provide customer training for maintenance and operations personnel as required.Assists customer with the Management of Change process.Collects new equipment data sheets from customers project engineers for review by salesman and/or regional engineer.Additional duties as assigned.Diversity & Inclusion We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
