Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Project Manager to be based in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This role can be hybrid. Description: The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as the primary liaison between program management, Product Support IPT leads, and Product Support disciplines. The selected candidate will conduct EVM for Product Support IPT on the RQ4 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and work best in a collaborative/team setting across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable with and be able to collaborate closely with program managers, project managers, systems engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers. Essential Functions: * Provide EVM support to the IPT to include but not limited to EAC reviews, VAR reviews, staffing analysis, and tracking of actuals.
* Assess project issues and the development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, goals, and objectives.
* Develop mechanisms needed to effectively monitor project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program management, FMS Product Support IPT lead, Product Support disciplines, and customers.
* Analyze PD/BOEs/SOW/WAD to assist with completion of baseline artifacts.
* Provide status review of projects and budgets to FMS IPT lead and PMO as needed.
* Coordination with PS SMT Lead to review and work corrections to IWO EACs.
* Review proposal TAMs/BOEs to gain insight on upcoming EP Staffing profiles.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interface with an organization at all levels.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Management (Level 3): * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and at least 6 years of combined experience in Financial Analysis, Project Management, and/or EVM, Or 4 years of mentioned experience with a Master's Degree.
* Hands on experience in EVMS analysis to include EAC reviews, variance reviews, staffing plans, and control account management.
* Advanced skills in MS Office suite.
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Product Support Integrated Product Team
* Understanding of Integrated Master Scheduling and Microsoft Project
* Proficient in Cobra and TableauSalary Range: $88,700 - $133,100 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
