Position Summary:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving the financial performance and strategic decision-making of the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to senior management. Your expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling will be crucial in supporting the company's growth and profitability goals.

What You'll Do:

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial performance metrics.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
• Monitor and track key financial indicators to identify risks and opportunities, and proactively propose strategies for improvement.

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the annual budget and long-term financial plans.
• Provide support in the budgeting process, including forecasting revenue, cost of goods, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of various business decisions on financial outcomes.

Strategic Decision Support:

• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives, such as evaluating new investment opportunities, potential acquisitions, or partnerships.
• Conduct due diligence and financial assessments of potential projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial feasibility.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and review business cases for new projects or product lines.

Cost Analysis and Optimization:

• Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and inventory, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement cost control measures and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Assist in evaluating the financial impact of process changes, new technologies, or outsourcing decisions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits and reviews.
• Assess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies to protect the company's financial integrity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the biotech manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis techniques, financial modeling, and forecasting.
• Proficient in financial reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

Physical Requirements:

• Work to be conducted in both an office environment and / or from a home office
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Frequent use of computer with repetitive use of keyboard, mouse and manual dexterity.
