Roles and Responsibilities
Owns and manages either Mechanical or Process Piping construction for green field semiconductor factory.
Work as a key stake holder of the on-site Project Management team to plan, organize, and supervise projects from inception through construction, commissioning and close-out.
Maintain productive relationships with internal business partners and customers.
Communicate project status to Project Management, Client, internal customers and external parties as appropriate.
Utilize and become proficient in the use of construction management programs being considered for use (i.e. Microsoft Project, EXCEL, P6 etc.)
Maintain good relationship with Client and trade labor to encourage and enable craft productivity improvements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, construction management or other related field preferred.
4 plus years construction management experience. Must have proven successful projects in the Construction Manager role. Construction experience, preferably in the Semiconductor industry, with strong results in meeting deadlines and cost requirements.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the capacity to maintain information confidentiality.
Working knowledge of building components, mechanical, process piping and plumbing systems
Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred
Ability to work individually or in a team with minimum supervision in
culturally diverse environment.
Good working relationship with Trade labor to drive craft productive improvements.
Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills (oral and written)
Experience in Gas and Chemical system highly preferred.
