Job Description
Salary: From $23/hr
Today we seek an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for our Loch Raven property, 72 apartment homes in Raleigh, NC who is ready to:
- Assists Maintenance Supervisor in the supervision of all maintenance, grounds and RFO personnel.
- Supervises maintenance team as required by Maintenance Supervisor.
- Schedules the day-to-day duties of the maintenance team as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Together with the team, complete work orders and apartment turns timely and according to Palms’ procedures and deadlines.
- Ensures that all RFO repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Maintains adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations.
- Ensures that the maintenance area is locked up when not in use.
- Conducts on-going training with maintenance staff; e.g., workplace safety, and any other type of training that may be needed on a daily basis as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Instills a “safety first” attitude not only with the maintenance team but with all staff.

- Position requires at least 2 years' experience in property management maintenance.
- HVAC certification is required. CPO certification can be obtained with Palms.
- Must be able to be in rotating, on-call schedule.
- Possess the desire to lead others, be a role model and a problem solver.
