Job Posting: Radiology Manager of Operations
Location: Richmond/Virginia Beach, VA
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
We are hiring for a leading Mobile Diagnostic Company, and we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Radiology Manager of Operations to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on managing daily operations and supervising Radiological Technologists and/or Sonographers within the assigned region of Richmond/Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities:
~Supervise daily operations and the professional staff within the assigned region, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
~Oversee patient care, flow, and ensure service quality meets or exceeds company and industry standards.
~Manage a team of Radiological Technologists and/or Sonographers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
~Ensure all team members have and maintain the required professional certifications.
~Manage logistical operations, including equipment readiness and maintenance.
~Travel up to 50% within the service area to oversee operations and ensure quality standards.
~Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership, delegation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
~Maintain effective communication and collaboration with health professionals and stakeholders.
~Be on-call for emergencies as needed.
Requirements:
~Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the mobile diagnostic field.
~At least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within a healthcare setting.
~Must possess and maintain valid State Rad Tech/CRT and ARRT, ARDMS/CCI certification.
~Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel up to 50% within the service area.
~COVID vaccination required.
~Demonstrated supervisory skills including leadership, delegation, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
~Basic computer skills (database, internet, and email).
~Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a focus on high-quality service.
~Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with staff and health professionals.
~Availability for day shift M-F 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and on-call duties for emergencies.
