Job Summary	Auburn University Libraries is seeking applicants for the position of Student Assistant to assist faculty and staff with daily library operations in the Innovation & Research Commons (I&RC) MakerSpace. Essential Functions	Assist users with VR equipment. Assist with VR project development. Assist with 3D printing jobs submitted by users. Assist with 3D printing design using computer-aided design software. Assist with other MakerSpace projects as assigned. Assist in cleaning and tidying the MakerSpace.
Minimum Qualifications	Enrolled student at Auburn University Expectations: Interest in public service and delivery of quality customer service. Be willing to work as a team member while interacting with faculty, staff, and students. Possess strong interpersonal and communications skills. Dependability, multi-tasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A commitment to an inclusive and diverse campus environment Job frequently requires standing, walking, reaching, balancing, hearing, handling objects with hands, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications	Experience with 3D printing technology, VR development, computer-aided design software, or other maker technologies
Pay Rate	$9.35/hour
Work Hours	Students will work up to 20 hours per week depending on availability during the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
