The School of Nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications from qualified candidates for the Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant Clinical/Associate Clinical Professor position.

The qualified candidate will serve as the MSN Health Systems Leader (HSL) Track Coordinator, as well as provide online instruction in the HSL track. Expertise in nursing administration/leadership, quality improvement is required. Successful candidates should have a beginning program of research and scholarship.

The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

* Knowledge and insights gained from the exploration of his/her area of specialization.

* Ability to communicate to professional peers.

* Ability to perform successfully the professional duties assigned.

* Ability to engage in scholarship and research.

* Ability to demonstrate academic growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in nursing and a terminal degree either DNP or PhD.

Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Alabama

Doctorate degree conferred by date of hire. Recent clinical experience with teaching experience at the graduate level.
