*Job Description:*
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients at our client hospital in Round Rock, Texas. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions. Your duties will include conducting diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and educating patients and their families on managing respiratory illnesses. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform assessments to evaluate patients' respiratory conditions
* Administer treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians
* Monitor patients' responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly
* Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
* Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
*Requirements:*
* Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
* Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas
* Current BLS and ACLS certification
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory care protocols
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient with ventilators such as the 840, V60, High Flow, and high velocity devices such as AirVo, HFNC, and Vapotherm.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
