Use paint application techniques and equipment to professionally finish interior and exterior surfaces.
? Measures area to be painted; determines quantity and type of paint to use for the
project
? Protects other non-painted surfaces
? Applies paint to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, sprayers, airbrushes, stencils, and other tools
? Performs basic stencil and line work
? Complies with chemical and waste storage and disposal regulations and best practices
? Complies with applicable safety regulations and best practices, including all OSHA regulations
? Assists with training of new hires
? Performs other duties as assigned
? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
? Ability to follow instructions and provide consistent work
? Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
? Minimum 5 years experience required
? Certification preferred
? High school diploma or equivalent preferred
? Can tolerate prolonged periods standing, bending and stretching
? Must have adequate balance and ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
? Must be able to distinguish among colors
? Must be able to tolerate exposure to typical smells associated with the jobsite
? Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
