What You’ll Be Doing:

The Centralized Make Ready Coordinator plans, schedules and coordinates the

make-ready process within a portfolio of Equity Residential apartment communities,

delivering on our resident commitments of exceptional move-ins, total satisfaction, and

customer loyalty. The Centralized Make Ready Coordinator supports the make ready

process by planning make-ready tasks and scheduling vendors for the assigned

portfolio. Additionally, this role is responsible for completing Notice to Vacate

inspections, move out inspections, and move out cost worksheets. They may also

support training, assist with maintenance projects, and handle on-call and snow removal

duties. Local travel within the portfolio is required.

● Plans, schedules, organizes and manages Make Ready process based on

market demand in collaboration with Community/General Managers (based

on traffic, etc)

● Schedules and performs Notice to Vacate inspections.

● Completes move-out inspections and prepares the move-out cost sheet

accurately for the Community Manager / General Manager to complete the

SODA process.

● Coordinates and communicates make ready assignments to the Make

Ready Team based on availability and schedule.

● Assists Centralized Make Ready Team in the performance of their duties as

needed.

● Maintains open and clear communication with Property Manager, on-site

staff and residents. Assists Centralized Make Ready Team in the

performance of their duties as needed.

● Assists with special maintenance projects as needed.

● Assists with snow removal as needed.

● Local travel required within portfolio based on operational needs

● Attends and participates in training programs as required.

● Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.

Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with

residents, coworkers and the general public.

● Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Thrive:

  • Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Smartphone 

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Managerial Experience

Pay Range: $24.25- $29.64 an hour

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
