Job Summary
This position is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications; knowing one or more programming languages; knowing one or more development methodologies / delivery models. To be successful in this role, a person would have strong experience with Big Data / Hadoop / Spark development.
Required Job Qualifications: \n*\tBachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience. \n*\tPossess ability to sit and perform computer entry for entire work shift, as required. \n*\tPossess ability to manage workload, manage mutliple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers, as applicable. \n*\tExperience in traditional app languages ( COBOL / Perl / C ).\n*\tExperience in scripting languages (BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY). \n*\tExperience in application / product feature design.\n*\tExperience in integration technologies (Tibco/Informatica/CAS).\n*\tExperience in mobile technologies (HP Anywhere / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5).\n*\tExperience in service oriented architecture (SOA).\n*\tExperience in web technologies (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C#).\n*\tExperience in cloud computing technologies (SaaS / IaaS / PaaS).\n*\tExperience in application configuration.\n*\tRapid prototyping. \n*\tSDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development). \n*\tSystem performance management.\n*\tSystems change / configuration management.\n*\tBusiness requirements management.\n*\tProblem solving /analytical thinking.\n*\tCreative thinking.\n*\tAbility to execute.\n*\tTravel availability up to 20%.\n\n\nPreferred Job Qualifications: \n*\tBachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
