We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S.

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Scheduler to support the Kessel Run Division, which is within the USAF Digital Directorate and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

** Position has been approved for Hybrid work status, whereby coming onto Hanscom AFB 1-2 times per week.

JOB STATUS : Full time salaried

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Communicate and coordinate IMS activities among the functional disciplines within Kessel Run.
  • Provide Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) technical products (e.g., GANTT charts, network diagrams).
  • Ensure integrated schedule management technical support to system acquisition processes and collaborate and incorporate key schedule requirements to ensure mission success.
  • Support requirements development, plan preparation and assess ability to achieve results.
  • Communicate schedule objectives, plans, and status to the customer, the project team, and management.
  • Perform corrective actions as necessary to achieve end result.
  • Provide critical path impact analysis and recommending conflict resolution actions as required to the Government Program Manager.
  • Identify and forecast scheduling trends and provide recommendations to mitigate risks to program schedule.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree, and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD
  • Must possess senior level scheduling capability using MS Project Professional.
  • Capable of leading and executing tasks associated with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning, development, execution, and analysis of systems.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and interacting daily with high level officials and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate must have an active US security clearance.
  • Candidate must be a US citizen.
