Clerk Training Administrator

Location : Court Street, Clearwater, Fl.

The Clerk of the Circuit Court is looking for new members to join our team as part of one of the finest organizations in Pinellas County.

Employees of the Clerk of the Circuit Court provide quality service to our public.

This position performsspecialized work involving the development, administration, implementation and subsequent evaluation of organization level training strategies with specific focus on the needs of the office of Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller for Pinellas County.

Responsibilities include policy and procedure management and training program development and management of specialized and office-wide training programs.

The Training Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing a consistent training environment including material development and accountability tracking including online, remote and in-person instructional modes.

This assignment requires the exercise of independent judgment in assessing department / division needs and recommending a coordinated and formal implementation plan.

What Would You Do?

  • Conducts organization-wide training needs assessment;
  • Interacts with stakeholders at various organizational levels and assists in determining skill gaps, training needs, and training effectiveness;
  • Identifies current and future training needs and create a curriculum format to facilitate that training;
  • Works cooperatively with division and department leadership in developing and implementing training programs;
  • Acts on various committees;
  • Assists with development and implementation of Strategic Planning initiative;
  • Advises and assists various department training specialists with execution of department level training plans;
  • Collaborates with departmental staff to align and incorporate program updates with training plans;
  • Coordinates the development of departmental reference manuals and specialized manuals;
  • Devises and develops employee development and succession management programs;
  • Prepares reports (i.e., training impact on KPI, training completion rates, training feedback, etc.) and other statistical data;
  • Recommends and implements training accountability tracking;
  • Creates and implements new employee training for onboarding;
  • Coordinates with Pinellas County Training Office to identify common resources and methods;
  • Tracks completion of employee performance reviews;
  • Performsotherrelatedjobdutiesas assigned.

What Do You Need To Have?

Education and Experience :

Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or related field and three years’ experience in a professional or an instructional capacity;

or an equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience.

  • Assignment to workavarietyofworkschedulesincludingcompulsoryworkperiods inspecial, emergency, and / ordisastersituations.
