Summary
DPS Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain professional to lead our Global Supply Chain Management team based in Hillsboro, OR. As the Global Supply Chain Manager within DPS’ Advanced Technology Group, you will be responsible for managing teams, growing the services and client base, driving process improvements programs and commercial relationships with suppliers and project partners related to high-tech industrial construction projects on a global scale.
Successful candidates will have a minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, related to Engineering and Construction, leading large programs across a global organization. Comfortable with dealing with senior management both on the DPS side as well as the client side. Proven ability to work with clients and stakeholders on multiple projects of varying scope and scale, have strong communication and organizational skills, possess strong project management capabilities, and thrive in an ever-changing project environment while you lead and inspire teams to ensure on-time delivery for innovative and groundbreaking projects.
Responsibilities
  • Manage global team of supply chain professionals and oversee commercial relationships with direct materials suppliers and clients for industrial high-technology construction projects.
  • Drive the department to expand their services, working with existing clients and looking to other related clients across the industry.
  • Develop demand outlook schedules and provide risk assessments, for our clients.
  • Create and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for category materials covering market trends, supply assurance, quality improvement, supplier development, sustainability, and financial & supply risk mitigation.
  • Effectively manage relationships with suppliers by implementing the vendor score card process.
  • Develop and implement cost savings projects and financial forecasting.
  • Report and manage costs on a live basis to ensure cost control on large-scale projects.
  • Negotiate and execute contractual agreements in accordance to established company policies and procedures.
  • Preparation of forecasts for importers and manufacturers, and diligent tracking of lead time.
  • Ensure compliance related process and procedures are documented and adhered to.
  • Develop disruption mapping and mitigation strategies.
  • Own and maintain all category supplier relationships.
  • Lead evaluation of supplier capabilities, cost structure, risks, and partnership potential to determine supply base.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to generate concise communications for senior management and define strategic direction and execution plans.
  • Drive systems approaches to help efficiencies in the procurement processes, while always looking for continuous improvements.
  • 8-10 years’ experience working in Supply Chain, Engineering or Construction industry, with successful record of holding positions related to (global) supply chain project or program management; advanced technology (semiconductor) sector is highly advantageous.
  • Education requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction, or related field of study.
  • Proficient use of MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SAP.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with high attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter, as well as lead local and remote teams across different time zones on large projects consisting of multi-discipline teams and stakeholders.
