Worcester Health Care for the Homeless (WHCH) (formally HOAP) provides trauma-informed medical and behavior health services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The goal is to create a welcoming, empowering, and dignified medical home for those we serve. Our team-based approach provides care in our newly renovated clinic located at 199 Chandler Street as well as various outreach clinics within the City of Worcester. In addition to medical and behavior health services, patients can access case management, recovery coaches, and Office Based Assisted Treatment (OBAT) for substance-use disorder.
Job Description:
The Patient Accounts Representative is responsible for the data entry and clerical functions within the Patient Accounts
Department.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience Required:
One year experience with use of various PC based software products, including but not limited to: word processing, spreadsheets and databases required.
Knowledge and experience of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred Basic math and reading skills required.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to the Practice Coordinator
