Line Dance Instructor (International District/Chinatown Community Center)
If you have a knowledge and understanding of Line Dance fundamentals and passion for and experience teaching, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as a Line Dance Instructor at International District/Chinatown Community Center. This is a year-round part-time role starting from early-April 2024. There are multiple opportunities to extend.
ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. In this role, the Line Dance Instructor at International District/Chinatown Community Center will be responsible for providing a safe, enjoyable, and beneficial workout for all participants. The instructor must choreograph and teach routines appropriate for beginner and intermediate/advanced skill levels related to line dancing and provide modifications when needed.
Schedule:
Monday 11am-1pm
Thursday 9:30am-11am
Start Date: 4/1/2024
Line Dance Instructor duties and responsibilities include:
The line dance instructor is responsible for providing a safe, enjoyable, and beneficial workout for all participants.
The instructor must choreograph and teach routines appropriate for beginner and intermediate/advanced skill levels related to line dancing and provide modifications when needed.
Piano Instructor requirements include:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience in working with kids, teens, and adults.
Experience and knowledge of dance.
Must pass a WSP criminal background check.
Pay:
$26.50 - 28.50/hr.
