Key Personnel is currently recruiting Manufacturing Engineers to work on a Product Launch team in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
12 month contract assignment
Manufacturing Engineer Pay Rate: $52.56/hr
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
Understand new program content and to plan for new processes and equipment to support new programs
Assure all parts are routed to the correct operation
Develop and document processes for fabrication and assembly of new program content to support building new programs with Safety, Cost, Quality, Delivery, and employee experience in mind.
Identify and procure tooling and equipment needed to implement new processes
Work with project engineers on specs, SOW and implementation of equipment in supported area
Work to identify cost of new equipment and tooling
Gain approval for process and equipment changes
Develop and maintain timelines with program manager
Material flow and replenishment is understood and is production ready
Update or develop drawings for new tooling and assure that drawing numbers are stamped on tooling
Update current, future and proposed plant layouts
Manufacturing Engineer Desired Skills:
Engineering degree preferred
Experience & comfort presenting complex topics to leadership
Experience with error proofing
Experience with traceability of process and quality data
Proficiency in Microsoft Software Suite
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software
Experience in automotive or similar industry
Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of product manufacturing experience or master’s degree and at least 4 years of product manufacturing experience.
