ASR International Corporationhas an exciting opportunity for a Environmental Engineer position working as part of our team supporting the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers® Jacksonville District.The Environmental Engineer is an important member of the ASR Team and will be providing their expertise focused on the identification, assessment and problem resolution concerning the environment.

Location: Various Work Site locations throughout the State of Florida 

Job Description:

• Serve as a Quality Assurance Representative II in addition to the following duties:
• Identification, assessment and problem resolution concerning the environment.
• Prevent, control, and remediate environmental health hazards utilizing various engineering disciplines, soil science, biology, and chemistry.
• Work may include waste treatment, site remediation, or pollution control technology.
• Ensures the conformance to federal, state, and local environmental legislation.

Requirements: 

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in area of specialty 

• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration desired, Florida preferred, 

• Active Security Clearance desired 

• Target Experience: Two or more years of professional experience in area of specialty and construction quality control

• Ability to communicate effectively with UASCE customer and contractor personnel at all levels. 

• High comfort level working with and around all organizational levels, clients, suppliers, and visitors. 

• Physically capable of walking over rough terrain and standing for long periods of time. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 

• Travel required throughout Florida. 

• Strong verbal and written communications skills. 

• Must be a US Citizen.
