The AR/Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for assisting with journal entries, account reconciliation, and preparing financial reports, budget reports and forecasts. The AR/Staff Accountant may focus on one function or may be cross trained to assist in the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or Payroll functions.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting
• Advanced typing and 10-key skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Detail oriented
• Experience with account reconciliation and journal entries
• Prior experience in accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable preferred
• Professional oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable making several phone calls and sending emails
