Accounting Clerk

Aschenbach Chevrolet GMC in Wytheville, VA is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Department. This position is full-time, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Hourly pay based on experience.

Top applicants will have prior bookkeeping experience. Prior automotive experience is required. Our management staff is forward thinking and willing to train, coach, and motivate people to greatness. Responsibilities include:

• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable 

• Answering phones 

• Data entry 

• Filing for the office 

• Order supplies 

• Cancel warranties 

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting/dealership experience required 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 

• Highly organized with eagerness to improve 

• Friendly and personable 

• Willingness to take initiative 

• Computer literacy, quality writing and grammar skills 

• Ability to handle multiple tasks easily 

• Work with all levels of employees
