Position: Hostess

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Hostess. As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and maintaining a tidy and organized front-of-house area.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival

• Seat guests according to seating chart and rotation to ensure efficient use of dining space

• Manage reservations, including confirming bookings, updating reservation lists, and accommodating special requests

• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the hostess station and waiting area

• Assist guests with inquiries, provide menus, and answer questions about the menu or restaurant services

• Monitor the flow of guests and communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service

• Assist with coordinating takeout or delivery orders as needed

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests

• Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills preferred

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
