Job Description
BrightStar Care currently has a Care Specialist position available. This would be an elevated role which ensures that our clients experience seamless care during transition periods, such as hospitalizations / discharges, or onboarding of a new client. The care specialist would be expected to ensure that the client has the support they need during these times.

- Must be prepared to leave for work within 30 minutes during your scheduled hours. We will try to schedule shifts with as much advanced notice as possible, but there will be last minute scheduling and changes.
- Assist with office work
- Assist with field work
- Drop off supplies
- Provide training for caregivers
- Introduce new caregivers and field staff to clients
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle background check
- CNA license is preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Drivers License and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle
- Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality
- Mandatory CEUs
- Must be ok to work around pets
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
