The Role Lumen is looking for an experienced Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to align, manage and co-ordinate the Information Security activities, programs, and initiatives across lines of business and related technologies, products, and services. This independent contributor position reports to the Deputy Chief Security Officer, and is a key member of the Global Network & Security team, a part of the Corporate Security organization. The BISO supports security program implementation through interaction, advice, and oversight with the teams and leaders in the lines of business to drive the information security aspects of the business agenda and ensuring lines of business processes and procedures are in compliance with Lumen's Information Security policies. The BISO program is responsible for driving risk reduction strategies by aligning business and security strategies through proactive leadership engagement. This successful candidate will further create risk aware culture and develop approaches to support business and security initiatives and liaise leadership communication in effective manner. The position requires strong skills and experience in the following areas: Information Security and Business leadership, risk management, verbal and written communication, executive presentation, analytical skills, ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details, experience being a change agent, problem solving, experience driving organizational change, and interpersonal skills.
