The Inspection Services Division (ISD) within the Community Planning, Housing and Development (CPHD) Department is seeking an Electrical Codes Inspector to ensure that all phases of building construction are completed in conformance with codes, ordinances, and approved plans and specifications. The ISD is responsible for working with Arlington County citizens and developers to build and maintain property throughout the County.
Electrical Codes Inspector positions may be filled at level I, II, or III, depending upon the candidate's experience and qualifications. The employee will receive training on materials, methodology, and code requirements for residential and commercial high-rise inspections.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasionally, inspections are scheduled outside of the normal work hours. Inspectors normally begin and end workdays in the office and are required to participate in meetings and task groups.

Construction Codes Inspector I is $66,019.20 - $100,755.20
Construction Codes Inspector II is $71,052.80 - $108,576.00
Construction Codes Inspector III is $79,934.40 - $122,158.40
