Essential Functions:

• Operates and maintains snowmaking equipment.
• Relocates snowmaking guns and hoses to various areas around the mountain as needed.
• Operate high-voltage equipment and high pressure air and water system utilizing appropriate safety precautions.
• Complies with all safety procedures within Mountain Operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Must be able to operate a snowmobile or other all-terrain vehicles.

Must have the ability to hike for sustained periods of time at a high elevation and in inclement, unpredictable and cold weather conditions, at night.

Must have the mechanical ability to troubleshoot and/or recognize minor snowmaking equipment malfunctions. 

Requires interpersonal skills to work closely with other snowmakers.
