Emblem Hospice Tucson is Hiring a Medical Records / Scheduler - Emblem Hospice Tucson - Fulltime Near Tucson, AZ
Emblem Hospice Tucson offers life-changing service to all our patients while also providing the emotional support and hospice education for the patient, their family and/or caregivers. We have a dynamic team of nurses, aides, social services, and spiritual care professionals, as well as a compassionate group of volunteers and experienced management. Currently we are searching for a full-time Medical Records / Scheduler to add your expertise to this team. We offer a competitive wage based on experience, benefits and paid vacation and sick time. The Medical Records Coordinator will provide office administrative support to include answering phones, general support to staff and visitors, as well as providing support for Intake, Referrals and Scheduling. This position requires:
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing office support, preferably in hospice or health care setting
Effective communication skills both oral and written with the ability to accurately exchange information.
Proficiency in computer applications to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal staff, clinical field employees, contract staff, patients/families and referral sources.
Maintaining confidentiality of patient information under HIPAA guidelines.
Experience working with an EMR, HomeCare HomeBase preferred
Maintaining high standards of integrity and business ethics.
Ability to work independently.
