Join our mission to help ensure that all pets receive care, no matter their owner's financial status. At our competitive paying, non-profit veterinary clinic, we're on a mission to provide reduced or free grant-funded services to our underserved and underprivileged community who may not otherwise seek care for their pets due to financial barriers. Our veterinary technicians are a key part of this mission as they help ensure that pet owners receive timely appointments and resources for their pets while having an excellent experience every time. Strong communication abilities, compassion to help owners and pets in need and excellent customer service skills are a must.
WORK LIFE BALANCE (THREE DAY WEEKENDS!)
Your schedule will be four 10-hour work days with three day weekends every week; giving you extra time to enjoy life outside of work! Occasional work required outside of normal business hours. Schedule can vary depending on the need of the clinic and must be available M-Fri.

Experience and Qualifications
Experience: Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Language Skills: Able to speak, read and write English; Spanish language helpful.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical skills.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with Daysmart preferred, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Explorer; able to learn other software programs as necessary.
Other: Regular attendance and punctuality required.
Work Environment / Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
There may be occasional wet floors, animal noises, odors, and exposure to dander. Most time will be spent in a typical air conditioned and heated environment.
