Hospital needs an Endoscopy Nurse right away! Must do conscious sedation and be a team player. Some call required, too. Traveler friendly facility!
# suites: 4 Suites in hospital, 3 rooms in Endo Center across the street for outpatient procedures.
Ratios: 1:2
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
Required Duties: In phase II they can take two patients, pre-admit 1:2. Travelers are typically used in Pre-Admit and Recovery. Rarely used for Intra-op unless they have Endo specialty experience. Will be intra-op ONLY if skills are validated on site, giving preference to training perm staff.
Common Cases: No Pediatrics, Colonoscopies, EGD's, cautery, dilation. Travelers will not be expected to do ERCP or higher acuity
Experience or 'Must have' skills: WA State license, strong IV and assessment skills.
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge nurse available.
Are there techs or nurse aids in this department: Mostly techs to support staff
RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Anesthesia and physicians, anesthesia techs
Shifts & Scheduling: Four tens, , schedule posted monthly, Travelers will be filling in holes. One day off per week.

Floating Requirements: 3 rooms in Endo Center across the street for outpatient procedures, inpatient procedures are done in the main unit within the hospital. Travelers will used mainly in the Endo Center but may be floated to the hospital itself.
