This position's pay range is $22.71 - $31.16 per hour!! An additional $0.50 shift differential will be provided for hours worked between 7pm - 7am.
What You'll Do:
  • Manufacture resin and formaldehyde according to established procedures and HSE regulations.
  • Unload and load raw materials and finished products following established procedures (tanker trailers, railcars, box trucks, and bulk trucks)
  • Operate a forklift to load/unload raw materials (drums, totes, bags)
  • Ensures required shipping documents are completed and procedures are followed to be in compliance with all regulations and corporate requirements
  • Visually monitors processes within their area of accountability and immediately informs the Lead Operator of any deviations or abnormalities
  • Respond to process alarms and interlocks promptly and coordinates timely confirmation and corrective actions to resolve conditions generating the alarms and interlocks
  • Perform In-Process Checks (IPC's) to verify batch progression and quality using laboratory equipment (GC, Titrator, pH meter, etc.)
  • Works in close coordination with the Lead Operator to accomplish the tasks needed to safely and efficiently meet production and maintenance schedules across all processes
  • Communicates and confers with the Lead Operator as well as with Technical, Supervisory, and Support Personnel to resolve process conditions affecting safety, efficiency, and product quality
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
  • Participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to facilitate safety improvements
  • Collaborate with management to meet the production and shipping schedule
  • Help to meet and exceed production, waste, and quality goals
  • Become Forklift Certified
  • Learn how to drive Tractor/Tanker unit
To be successful, you will need:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail & commitment to quality work
  • Ability to complete multiple repetitive tasks
  • Capable of Driving a Tractor/Tanker unit or being able to learn.
  • Analytical and mechanical mindset needed to be successful in this role
  • A team player with the ability to work independently when required
  • Available to work multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment (including holidays)
  • Must be ok with rotating shifts. (Days/Nights/Evenings rotating every week)
  • Must be ok with following strict Health and Safety Guidelines and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Ability to operate safely in a manufacturing environment; this may include, but is not limited to potentially lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods of time bending, crouching, stooping, rotating, climbing stairs, or any combination of the aforementioned, etc.
