Description

Essential Job Functions:

• Drive to the vision of creating a standardized, single service IT Model
• Implement policies
• Set up, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and manage the following types of IT hardware: PC’s, LAN Switches, WAN Routers, Wireless Access Points, Printers, Copiers, Phones, Audio Visual & Sound equipment, while ensuring integration with existing network 
• Work with vendors to solve issues and install new equipment including negotiating contracts 
• Manage a large-scale budget
• Identify, analyze, and repair equipment failures
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
• Provide support to end users on a variety of hardware and software issues
• Support staff with NWEA-MAP testing
• Assist in student scheduling 
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software
• Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support in a timely manner
• Document, track and monitor issues using a Ticketing Tool to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain accurate documentation of network and systems via an inventory management tool
• Update website as requested
• Support the staff in all of their hardware and software needs
• Be able to make independent decisions on IT matters
• Research and keep abreast of new technology and software
• Maintain network and internet access
• Prepare and deliver technology related professional development for teachers
• Keep all sensitive matters such as passwords and grades confidential
• Be available after school hours to assist teachers
• Actively engage in professional development
• Keep abreast of current copyright standards and ensure school-wide compliance 

Requirements

 Requirements:

• An Associates degree in Information Technology is desired with a minimum of 5 years experience

• Chrome OS
• iOS
• Mac OS
• Communication skills 

Must be able to:

• Manage and administer all aspects of Google Workspace and Google Classroom 
• Define problems quickly and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Demonstrate creativity in generating solutions 
• Thorough knowledge of troubleshooting skills involving both PC’s and networks
