Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic STEM School in Wheat Ridge is seeking a part-time Childcare/Aftercare Teacher Aide (Hours M-F from 2:30 - 5:00 pm). Qualified candidates must be faith-filled individuals with a desire to serve in a Catholic school who are passionate about sharing the faith with young students through living active lifestyles for Christ. Candidates must pass a background check and attend Safe Environment training. Job duties include following the childcare center rules and regulations, supervising and engaging students in activities, demonstrating strong classroom management skills, providing a kind, safe, and loving environment, and working well with the Preschool team. This position reports to the Preschool Director.

Preferred Qualifications

• ECT (Early Childhood Teacher) Qualified by CDHS (Colorado Department of Human Services).
• Education ECE Qualified/2 year degree
• Must be familiar with the CDHS rules that govern the childcare facility
• Strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education.
• Keep current with CDHS by taking 15 hours of continuing education per year.
