ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Counts and measures parts to ensure accuracy
- Uses hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdriver, wrench, utility knife, tape measure) in assembly, part processing, and packing operations
- Uses power tools (e.g., pneumatic hand tools, circular saws, banders) in assembly and part processing tasks.
- Operates industrial equipment (e.g., punch press, sewing equipment) for processing aluminum parts and making awning covers
- Operates material-handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) for moving materials to processing areas or to storage areas.
- Uses a computer to access job orders and inventory information when necessary.
- Works as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Rotates in the various Production Departments as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and a minimum of one year related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read written instructions
- Possess basic math skills
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure
