Riviera Country Club is looking for a professional and reliable Fitness Attendant with strong communication and customer service skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Greeting all our members in fitness areas and ensure all members and guests sign in.

· Supervision of all Exercise Rooms, assisting members with equipment, workouts, and exercises to ensure proper technique.

· New Member Orientation- familiarize new members with equipment.

· Personal Training opportunities, dependent on credentials.

· Depending on skills, instruction of fitness classes (ability to teach at least one type of class is a plus).

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Complete other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

· B.S. degree in Exercise Science or related field, or working towards degree preferred

· AFAA, ACE, NSCA or ACSM Certification a plus (Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor or Health/Fitness Instructor)

· CPR/AED certified

· Communication Skills – “people person” - comfortable with member interaction

· Professional, customer service oriented and reliable
