Position Overview:

As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment used in the F1 Arcade. Your work contributes to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen and ensures a positive dining experience for our guests.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

• Wash, sanitize, and air-dry dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following established hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment, including regular checks for functionality and promptly reporting any issues to the kitchen supervisor or manager.
• Maintain a well-organized dishwashing area, including the proper storage of cleaned items, to facilitate efficient workflow and easy access for kitchen staff.
• Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste in accordance with established guidelines. Keep the trash area clean and organized.
• Assist kitchen team members with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping, as needed during peak hours.
• Adhere to personal hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate protective gear such as gloves and aprons, to ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Communicate effectively with all other team members to coordinate and support overall kitchen operations.
• Perform general cleaning tasks in the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen team members and contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen,
• Efficient time-management skills to handle a high volume of dishes during peak business hours.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Available to work various shift times and days, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand and/ or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs. if necessary.
• Authorized to legally work in the US.
