Bay Ridge Subaru is Hiring a Parts Delivery Driver Near Brooklyn, NY
- You must be over 21 years old due to insurance requirements.
- A clean license is required for at least the past 42 months, we run an MVR
- A valid license with a minimum of 3 years driving history
- A Drug test is required for this position This position is considered a safety sensitive position
- Must be able to work well under pressure and follow procedures.
- Must be able to work in Brooklyn.
- Must be able to drive a Mid Sized Roof Ford Transit 250
- Must know some basic computer skills
- Check in daily stock order and special order parts
- Post daily orders in DMS computer system
- Print invoices for customers to deliver part orders
- Loading all deliveries in truck
- Deliver customer order in a timely fashion.
- Accurately verifying parts you load against customer orders.
- Unloading parts at customer's place of business and confirm that the correct parts are delivered as ordered.
- Collecting payments from customers as dictated on the sales orders. You will be collecting cash, checks and processing credit cards .
- Drive in a safe manner and follow all company driving policies including state laws.
- Follow all company policies regarding paperwork and monies.
- Weekly pre-trip inspection must be performed every Monday and the van kept clean and free of trash and food.
- clean and wash company van when necessary during down time.
Our drivers are responsible for loading and unloading their vans. We sell body parts such as hoods, fenders, grilles, headlights, etc. These parts can weigh anywhere from a few ounces to 80 lbs. The size of the parts varies from a door handle to a hood. Please keep these things in mind when you apply.
- Working hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
