Description
The Infrastructure Services Programs & Solutions - Special Programs Senior Engineering Program Manager will partner with cross-functional teams across Apple to ensure infrastructure readiness, specifically within our data centers and colocation sites, for Apple's newest products and services. • Comprehending program objectives: Gain a comprehensive understanding of program goals and requirements
• Roadmap creation: Define vital tasks, dependencies, and establish clear timelines for Infrastructure Services teams to meet program objectives
• Progress monitoring: Track and assess progress towards achieving critical program breakthroughs, ensuring alignment with predetermined objectives
• Documentation management: Maintain detailed and comprehensive documentation for stakeholder reference and ongoing program evaluation
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment: Drive internal and cross-functional meetings to facilitate collaboration and ensure coherence across teams
• Progress reporting: Generate concise and significant progress reports on a weekly basis, communicating achievements, challenges, and timely updates to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Validated experience in project management (5 years) in infrastructure services or related technical domains
• Proficiency in defining project scope, establishing timelines, and handling dependencies within a sophisticated organizational structure
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to enable effective collaboration across complementary teams and partners
• Meticulous approach with a focus on maintaining accurate documentation and progress tracking
• Experience with project management software (OmniPlan, Wrike, etc.) a plus
• BS/MS or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, or similar technical field

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
