MediaTek's Power Management team design power management integrated circuits (PMICs) and power management units (PMUs) for a variety of smart phones, IOT, automotive, and ASIC products. Our designs and products are widely used in hundreds of millions of devices each year.

We are seeking design engineers with solid experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Switching regulators
• Low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulators
• PMIC chip integration

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams including R&D, system, testing, and customer engineering to implement your ideas and deliver the successful MediaTek inside devices around world.

Job Description

• Behavior and transistor level circuit design, simulation and verification of power management blocks including LDO, SMPS (buck, boost, buck-boost…), voltage reference and other analog circuits meeting power, performance and area specifications.
• Summarize and interpret results of highly complex performance checks and reports to project leaders
• Working closely with IC/PCB layout engineers to ensure performance and quality of the designs.
• Perform functional and parameter bench verification with application engineers for the designs.
• Datasheet drafting and reviews

Key Qualifications

• PMIC design experience on automotive and computing applications
• 3 years overall experience in analog IC design industry
• Experience with Cadence IC design tools
• Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters (DMMs) and e-load
• Device physics, device reliability analysis

Salary range: $138,000- $247,000

Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
