The Gatos team is a cross discipline, production and research data annotation team within Video Engineering. We are looking for a team member to join our operations team! You will work alongside other ops engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and machine learning research engineers to help deliver some of the most crucial data to deep rooted algorithm development that is used to drive functionality to millions of devices and users all over the world. You will use a combination of technical and soft skills to help coordinate requests across dozens of internal partners.

**Key Qualifications**

3 years working on a multi-functional software development team (Product, QA, testing etc)

Ability to drive large scale and multifaceted projects across many teams with varying degrees of complexity

Proven understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools

Experience with Python, Javascript, SQL

Experience diagnosing and debugging complex systems

Experience solving data and production issues.

Experience developing reporting dashboards and reports, enabling reporting to multi-functional partners

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Project management and people management would be a bonus.

**Description**

We are seeking a Machine Learning Data Operations Engineer, with a strong understanding of the complex relationship that is found in the Machine learning and data annotation space. Youll be managing large scale data projects while simultaneously adding and updating to the existing systems or operational workflows. These systems are present in the platform and infrastructure currently used for data annotation, and analysis. The position will require the ability to collaborate with other operations engineers, internal algorithm development teams, software and hardware developers, data collection teams, and external labeling teams. Teams will be spread across timezones and countries requiring collaboration and skills found in many disciplines. The ideal candidate will have experience and background in QA and test automation as well as understanding of ML systems.

**Education & Experience**

BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
