Key Qualifications

• Leadership and management expertise in delivering sophisticated machine learning projects
• Demonstrated expertise in deep learning with publication record (or a track record in applying techniques to products) in at least one of following topics: vision foundation models, representation learning, geometric computer vision, model interpretability, generative models.
• Excellent software skills, on relevant programming languages (e.g., Python), frameworks (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow) and software development standard methodologies.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate complex topics to people from a variety of backgrounds and adapt to different audiences.
• We would appreciate additional experience with managing the delivery of complex solutions in embedded systems and/or human input interfaces.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in deep learning and computer vision along with a record in leading teams to achieve outstanding results in a collaborative setting. To represent the team well, you will also need engineering breadth to have productive conversations with software and hardware technology engineers, designers, and other specialists.

BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,000.00 and $301,000.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
